HOW TO USE THE INDEX-SEARCH FEATURE FOR THE "THREE WHITE PAPERS" DOCUMENT:

A NOTE ON SEARCH ICONS IN ACROBAT READER:

1) The binoculars icon is the "find" feature:  searching a single document.
2) The binoculars-in-front-of-a-document icon is the "search" feature:  searching across a document collection.
3) The pie-graph-in-front-of-a-document icon is the "results" feature:  as you search through a document collection, you may click on this icon at any time to return to your complete search results.

PERFORMING YOUR CROSS-COLLECTION SEARCH (Note: This procedure must be completed only once; subsequent searches will not require these steps):

Step 1 - With the THREE WHITE PAPERS.PDF document open, click on the "Search" icon.  The "Adobe Acrobat Search" dialogue box will appear.

Step 2 - Click on the "Indexes" button.  An "Index Selection" dialogue box will appear.

Step 3 - Click on the "Add" button.  An "Add Index" dialogue box will appear.

Step 4 - Using the "Up One Level" Folder button, go back to the level where you can choose the folder you unzipped.  Choose the "INDEX" or "INDEX.PDX" file.
  
Step 5 - The box next to "Three White Papers Index" should be checked.  Click "OK" and begin your search.

OTHER TIPS:

-	Use the "fit-in-window" view icon as you scroll through the document collection.
-	Use the "bookmarks" in the left window to move through the document collection.
